John Brooks
John Brooks is a semi-retired sportscaster and owner of Sportscast Productions, Inc., a 35-year old company involved in radio and television sports productions and sports advertising. He is a past vice-president of the National Sportswriters & Sportscaster Association, and winner of the Coca-Cola/Powerade National Sportscast of the Year Award in 2000. With nearly 2,900 professional and collegiate play-by-play broadcasts on his resume, his many credits include “Voice” of the University of Oklahoma Basketball and Football radio networks for 16 years and the “Voice” of the Oklahoma City Blazers and San Diego Gulls professional hockey teams for 28 seasons. He is married to Lisa and has four children, Remington, Stacey, Angie, and Lance and lives in Oklahoma City and part-time in Madrid, Spain. |
