Synopsis: In 1966 I did the worst possible thing a young woman could do... I became pregnant and was not married. I went into hiding for five months and delivered a beautiful baby girl on June 1, 1966. With my heart and soul shrieking in pain, I surrendered my baby for adoption, whispering to her to come back and find me someday.

Shar's Story is my adoption/reunion journey, beginning with that horrific experience losing her, and culminating in her choice to find me and create an incredibly joyful reunion for both our families. The 'story within the story'describes the path I took from shame and disgrace to forgiveness and love. Coincidences abound in this book!
