Running River is a 14-year-old Asian American girl who lives happily with her family in Northern Virginia. Since her schedule would interfere with traditional schooling, River is homeschooled through an online high school and takes dual credit courses from a local college. She has earned an A on her first two college courses. She has also set up her own publishing company, Hawk Feather Press, because she wishes to be a young entrepreneur with her own business. Though "Forever" has only been her first book, she plans to write more and further continue her career as an author.
